It’s been a long few years getting everything ready to go for our bid and we’re now even more excited to officially be hosting 2027! These fantastic people have been the backbone of this process.
The team consists of a diverse range of experience and backgrounds. Although there are a lot more amazing people involved in our convention process, the team members below are our core crew who doubles as the executive show committee of SMRCS. Per our C&BL, the Show Committee handles all aspects of the club during Convention bids & planning.
The Team
Kendal has worked tirelessly behind the scenes for previous conventions and is grateful to be able to continue to support ARBA and our great convention. He is looking forward to putting in the work necessary to bring the 2027 ARBA Convention to Greenville.
Kendal Bledsoe – Co-Chair
Rachael’s over 15 years of event planning experience has her well prepared to bring about a great convention. She is excited to be apart of this historical team bringing the 2027 ARBA Convention to South Carolina for the first time.
Rachael Singletary – Co-Chair
ARBA Vice President, respected rabbit judge and exhibitor, third generation
ARBA member and showman, Rusty has made his rounds and is looking forward to bringing
Convention to the southeast.
Rusty Westhoff – Show Super
A longtime breeder & exhibitor, Fayth has been involved behind the scenes with
many aspects of ARBA and rabbit shows & is ready to take on the role of open co-superintendent for Greenville Convention.
Fayth Young – Show Super
A family focused ARBA rabbit judge, Joey always puts the needs of youth at the
top of his priority list. He will make an excellent voice for our youth needs on the show tables and behind the scenes in Greenville.
Joey Martin – Show Super
Gay has over 30 years of experience in the rabbit hobby, and has assisted with previous conventions and shows, including assisting as secretary for 2006 Convention in Fort Worth. She has years of service and an impeccable reputation that make her an excellent treasurer for our Greenville convention.
Gay Sparks – Treasurer
Christy has been showing rabbits for over 20 years, and will be acting as our Show
Secretary for 2027 Convention. Christy currently acts as show secretary for many of her local ARBA shows, and is always happy to help youth and adults alike. She is looking forward to a southern Convention in Greenville.
Christy Posey – Secretary
Lisa has been raising rabbits with her daughter, Fayth, for 22 years. She travels all around the country and has gained a multitude of experience in hosting and assisting with shows. She is looking forward to applying the skills and knowledge she has gained over the years as she steps into the role of Youth Secretary.
